Challenge: How might we create a new seamless and easy-to-use experience for beer delivery?

Year: 2020
Personal Project

Challenge:
Create a new experience of delivery service of beer, and other products for moments of conviviality, that is unique, relevant, and meaningful for customers and that generates value in the business.
Process:
-
I researched global trends, with Fast Research to generate patterns through the analyzed data and create categories.
-
I developed a Stakeholders map visualizing the relationship between all the actors: the user, delivery man, and the supplier.

-
I created an Interview guide to go out and interview real users and real suppliers to understand the needs and expectations.

Insights / Based on interviews and polls:
-
All users communicate with their friends when they go to ask for something at home; alcohol is a symbol of socializing and sharing.

-
Users look for payment flexibility, (cash and card)

-
Most use more the service at home when you already run out of drink while at the meeting because they do not want to miss anything at the party, for laziness, or even because they know that already "getting into alcohol" can be dangerous.

-
The majority of users show dissatisfaction with not being able to divide the account in time as it generates confusion and discouragement to think that there will no longer be another time to clarify it.

Solution:
Integrative service between alcohol distributors and the user who wants a beer at home.
"Split-app" allows you to create "Splits", which are groups that are made at the moment with the people at the reunion. It facilitates the interaction and exchange of money at moments when you order something that is for everybody.

Learnings:
By doing interviews and surveys I got to understand the real context and the relationship people have with interactions involving beer or alcohol. I learned the importance of getting real feedback from real users to be able to offer a good service based on their habits and needs.

I learned how to make mobile mockups to present the visual draft of the idea.
